Computer-Based MIDI Clock Jitter

MIDI should work easily on modern computers based on its 32.5K baud rate, but programmers must not be able to get to the core of the Windows MIDI API because, at least out of MIDI-OX on my computer, MIDI Clock is horribly jittery.

I can already see you reaching for your pitchforks, so don't just take my word for it...

The best solution is to sync your DAW gear to an external hardware MIDI Clock such as MASTER CONTROL or TEMPODE.
